Our holiday apartment "Villa Smile" is our newest accommodation. It's located on the top floor of the main Villa Smile house, where you'll have the entire floor to yourselves.

The apartment has space for 1-5 people and can also be booked as a B&B. There's a cosy living room with a log burner and a small kitchenette. As well as two spacious bedrooms: one has a double bed, and the other has a single bed and bunk beds. All the rooms have a lovely view of the greenery outside.

A small bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet are also part of the apartment. In front of the house, there's a large meadow with tables and chairs, plus a fire pit and BBQ that you're very welcome to use.

If you stay in this apartment, you can experience a lot of the daily farm life and what's going on, if you'd like to.

 

Here on the farm, you can hire canoes, kayaks, motorboats or bikes, drink a cappuccino, buy homemade jam or apple juice from our own apple trees, and say hello to our Gotland sheep.

The lake and the forest are just a short walk away, as is the small harbour in Nössemark, which has a little shop (open the whole year) and a nice restaurant during the summer months.

You'll also find a small sauna at the harbour, which is heated up every Saturday from 10 am to 9 pm. You can use it for 100 SEK (or €10, which you can just pop into the honesty box in cash).

 

The house is well-connected, so you can easily hop on the road to the nearest small town of Dals-Ed or head over to Halden in Norway. Dalsland has some brilliant places for a day out, along with beautiful nature that's perfect for walking, paddling, cycling, or fishing. During the summer months, there's also plenty of local culture to enjoy.
